The Cottage Campaign’s goal is to build five cottages for the children on the Masonic Home campus in Macon. Eight children and their house parents will live in a family-style environment in each cottage. The concept is designed to promote functional family living and understanding the dynamics necessary to be productive citizens. In addition to the individual children’s bedrooms and baths, each cottage has a house parent’s suite, living room, dining room, kitchen, study, laundry, and pantry which doubles as a safe room.
Since its inception, the Cottage Campaign has raised full funding for four cottages. Three are occupied by our children and the fourth is under construction. Fundraising continues to complete the fifth cottage.
As of May 1, 2020, 122 Georgia Masonic Lodge, 1374 individuals, eight foundations and 37 companies have contributed over $3.5 million. Opportunities to honor or memorialize individuals and organizations are available.
